1.
Define and recognize the nonferrous materials.
2.
Explain and recognize the nature of nonferrous alloy.
3.
Discuss the properties of aluminium, magnesium, zinc,
beryllium alloys, gold, silver and some refractory metals.
4.
Select suitable nonferrous materials and their alloys for
engineering design.
Synopsis
This course introduces students to various non-ferrous alloys.
The properties, processing and applications of the non-ferrous
alloy will be discussed.
