Synopsis
This course focuses on the integration of facilities (machine tools,
robotics) and the automation protocols required in the
implementation of computer integrated manufacturing. Specific
concepts addressed include flexible manufacturing systems (FMS)
and interfaces between computer aided design and computer
aided manufacturing systems.
