Synopsis
The course introduces the basic principles and design of medical
diagnostic imaging equipment. A few medical imaging
technologies are covered such as X-rays, gamma rays, and
computed tomography, fluoroscopy, mammography, projection
radiography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound,
biomagnetic diagnostics, laser and optoelectronics. The course
also exposes the students to the quality control in diagnostics.
