Explain principles of cardiopulmonary bypass and problems
related to artificial lung designs in membrane oxygenators.
Synopsis
This course introduces the mass transfer principles for mixtures,
species velocities and fluxes. Mass balances, diffusive and
convective transport. Principles of cardiopulmonary bypass and
problems related to artificial lung designs in membrane
oxygenators.
